Install Blender 2.65 in Ubuntu 12.10

Bromeja - Blender 2.65 has been released a few days ago with lots of bug fixes, over 200 bugs that existed in previous releases have been fixed.

Among the changes included in the latest Blender 2.65 are:
  • Smoke simulator now supports fire, adaptive domains and interaction with moving objects.
  • Cycles now has official Open Shading Language support and motion blur.
  • Bevel tool has improved rounding.
  • Decimate modifier now preserves UV coordinates and vertex colors. 

Install Blender 2.65 in Ubuntu 12.10

 
The PPA that provides Blender 2.65 for Ubuntu 12.10 users has been updated today with the latest Blender 2.65.

To add the PPA and install Blender 2.65 in Ubuntu 12.10, use the following commands:
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:irie/blender
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install blender
